Copyright Transfer Deed and Royalty

The copyright owner’s all or partial rights who has been granted to him as “exclusive” through copyright registration are transferable and the owner of copyright may transfer his rights to any one he desires. But the transfer of exclusive rights is not valid unless that transfer is in writing and signed by the owner of the copyright or such owner’s duly authorized agent.

The copyrights are therefore transferred through a transfer deed or the agreement. Intellectual Property Logium provides services for the drafting and construction of such deeds, agreements and contracts. IPL assists for the recordation of assignment and license with Intellectual Property Organisation Pakistan (IPOP).
