Intellectual Property Organisation Pakistan is the regulatory authority for the following Laws to protect the Intellectual Property Rights in Pakistan.

7-Copyright Ordinance, 1962

9-Customs Rules 2001

10- Copyright Board (Procedure) Regulations, 1981

11-The International Copyright Order, 1968

12-Competition Commission of Pakistan Guidelines on the Assessment of Horizontal Mergers (2008)

13-Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan Act, 2012 (2012)

14-The Dramatic Performances Act

15-The Motion Pictures Ordinance, 1979.

Pakistan is also signatory to Various Traties Administered by WIPO, UPOV, WTO and UN including Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property (July 22, 2004) Convention Establishing WIPO – the World Intellectual Property Organization (January 6, 1977) and Berne Convention for Literary and Artistic Work.
