Copyright Infringement

The creator and owner of a literary, artistic, musical, or other creative work has the sole right to publish and sell that work. He can control the reproduction of his work, sell and trade this reporduction and he may grant or sell those rights to other people including publishers or recording companies. Title 17 U.S. Code Chapter 5 – deals with the law relating to Copyright infringement and its remedies. It defines copyright infringement as “Anyone who violates any of the exclusive rights of the copyright owner ….. is an infringer of the copyright”.
